Youth groups that raise funds for churches need to innovate in order to meet ordinary and also the out of the way expenses that can come up. Expenses can be something like money for repairing the choir piano, repairing the church bus, or maybe even purchasing a new bus. Church fundraising can happen smoothly if you know how to go about it. What is truly needed is manpower, some money, and information. You need manpower to get the work done, do to the running around, talk to people, organize events, move stuff, manage money, etc. Manpower can be voluntary or paid. With a youth group, you should not have problem getting people to volunteer to do work. Funds are second. You need money to raise money. There is a cost to everything. The big question is "What activities give me maximum returns". Advertising is a cost, transport, venue, products to sell are also an expense. The most important thing, of course, is information. Information on the income group that makes up the neighborhood; what activities will pique their interest? Are the folks religious minded to respond to a call by the church? Will an event with a religious theme do well...
