What would you think if you woke up to find a purple toilet tank in your front yard? Oh, boy it must be those crazy teenagers next door. Nope. It’s a fundraiser.
If you want that toilet gone you’ll pay a fee. You can send it to a friend’s house and let them have the same wake up call. That’s part of the fun with the Traveling Potty Fundraiser.

Here’s another example of a fun tailgate party event. This time it benefited a marching band at Talladega High School in Talladega, Florida. They held the tailgate party from 5 to 7 pm, Sept. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. outside Mary Dumas Stadium before the Talladega Tigers-Pell City Panthers football game The event was staged to raise money for its trip to perform at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee later this year.
The Zora Ellis Junior High School Band and the Talladega High School Band performed as part of the entertainment. Funds were raised by selling food such as hot dogs, sausage, chips, drinks and desserts. T-shirts were also sold to raise funds and the business sponsors were all listed on the back of the t-shirts. Sponsors were solicited ahead of time and the sponsors each paid a minimum of $100.
