American Idol has been a huge hit in the U.S as well as Great Britain. With all its popularity, they have also started their own fundraiser to save up money for children and people in Africa dealing with the AIDS epidemic. Thanks to them, they’ve raised up so much money, and have helped so many people that really need it. But just because American Idol is doing all of these fundraisers, it doesn’t mean that you can’t make your own fundraiser in the spirit of it. You can host your own American Idol competition with friends and family, or just with other people in general. They can pay to get into the event, and all the people that get up and sing help raise money for whatever non-profit organization is important to you. This not only helps other people, but helps people get over their stage fright to know that they’re not singing for themselves, but for others.
