Posted by Jennifer Lawton on Oct 09, 2007 under General |Here’s the final list of entries into the blog writing contest. Now it’s time to vote! The writers of the entries with the most votes will each get $25 Amazon Gift Certificate. And just by casting your vote for your favorite of these eight entries you could win a $25 Amazon Gift Certificate yourself! Even if you did not write an entry you can still vote!
Each one of these links below will open in a new window to make for easy reading:

How to Vote:
Just write a post on your own blog listing which of these entries are your favorites. List them as links which go back to the original article. You can include more than three in your favorites, but only the first 3 will be counted toward the final vote.
You must also include a link to this post for your vote to be counted. So you can include something like this: “This post is a vote for the best blog entries to the Super Fundraiser Back to School writing contest.”
If for some reason the trackback does not appear on this page then leave a comment on this post with the link to your post.
Anyone who has a blog can vote. Just one post per person no matter how many blogs you write for. No blogs containing illegal or other overtly non-family friendly material. Winner of the prize for the voters will be chosen at random from the trackback list on this post. Only one prize per person.
Voting Deadline: Tuesday October 23rd, Midnight CST
Note: This contest has ended. The final winners are posted here.

I like the Assistance Dogs go back to school. I think it puts a twist on school and also shows the importance of how much we need these dogs.

Hi RC, Thanks for your comments. I know I learned a lot from that article! If you want your vote to count and your name to go into the hat for the gift certificate you’ll need to write about this on your blog. (If you don’t have one it’s easy to start one at Blogger.com.) See the rest of the post above for more details on how to vote. Thanks!

Diane is so right! It takes a lot to train these dogs, and the dogs give so much of themselves, willingly!

I loved the blog about the service dog in training.
What a blessing these dogs are to very special people. It was a beautifully writen bog about a
wonderful, wonderful subject. May more of these
angels be off to school to help even more disabled
people be more productive and complete. Thanks
Diane for your vision and willingness to help others.

The assistance dog blog was very interesting. These dogs are so smart and so well-trained. It is a mutually beneficial relationship between human and canine. I never knew so much information was available about their training, etc.
