		<description>&lt;p&gt;I'd agree with you that unless you only need to make a little money, a bake sale alone just won't do.  Now, having a bake sale at another event like a carnival can be a pretty good money maker if it's handled properly.  Have all baked goods donated by parent/supporters.  Instead of selling them outright, have a cake walk.  It's not only a good activity for the kids, but you'll get more than twice what you could have sold the item for.&lt;/p&gt;
